Business Office Manager - Nursing Home

Located in Farmington, CT

Salary: $70K–$75K (Firm); based on prior experience

Qualifications of the Business Office Manager-Nursing Ho me:

  • An Associates degree
  • Must have at least two years prior experienceof business office/collections experience in a skilled nursing facility
  • Must have extensive experience with Medicaid applications
  • Must be organized, efficient and accurate
  • Payroll/ Human resource experience is preferred
  • Must have experience and be knowledgeable in the entire medical assistance process; This includes patient accounts, resident funds, collections, etc.

Responsibilities of the Business Office Manager-Nursing Home:

  • Private pay and applied income collections
  • Medicaid Pending case management
  • Medicaid Eligibility Process education and guidance to families and residents
  • Resident Fund Management
  • Census Management
  • Resident Trust
  • Deposits and tracking
  • Payroll & benefits processing preferred but can train
