As a Business Manager Consultant for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:

  • Driving strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and integration across the organization.
  • Executing business continuity plans to maintain operations during adverse conditions, adhering to corporate governance standards.
  • Establishing best practices for strategy development by consolidating information, advocating for business cases, and presenting proposals to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Designing budgets informed by organizational strategy and upcoming deliverables.
  • Monitoring team health and supporting leadership in addressing cultural issues, while leading initiatives to enhance organizational culture.
  • Managing the rhythm of business by coordinating key meetings, executive briefings, and planning cycles to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Acting as a strategic point of contact for executive-level clients, translating their vision into actionable initiatives for the organization.
  • Communicating executive priorities and ensuring alignment across business units through clear and structured messaging.
  • Creating strategic walking decks that effectively convey key insights, business priorities, and decision points for executive stakeholders.

This job is for you if:

  • You are highly strategic and know when to escalate. You can assess situations, understand what actions you can take, and recognize when a decision needs to be escalated to your executive client—always ensuring the right issues reach the right level at the right time.
  • You build strong relationships with executive clients. You understand the importance of trust, credibility, and proactive support in working closely with executive leaders. You anticipate their needs and create a seamless partnership that enables them to focus on high-impact priorities.
  • You excel in high-pressure situations. You remain calm and solutions-oriented, even in fast-moving or ambiguous environments. You embrace challenges as opportunities to bring structure and clarity.
  • You influence without authority. You hold others accountable and help drive decision-making, even when you're not the final decision-maker. You understand how to guide stakeholders toward alignment and action.
  • You are detail-oriented and take pride in getting things right. Whether managing key deliverables, coordinating executive briefings, or preparing strategic presentations, you ensure everything is accurate, polished, and impactful.
  • You're a lifelong learner. You approach every situation as an opportunity to expand your knowledge and improve your approach. You're open to feedback and continuously refine your skills to stay ahead.
