Job summary

Southwest Search LLC in Dallas seeks an Associate Attorney to join its International Law Firms Business Litigation practice. This role offers exposure to general commercial, civil and business litigation with a national and international client base.

Candidates should have 3–6 years of litigation experience, Texas bar admission, and strong writing and analytical skills. Prior exposure to discovery/e-discovery and deposition work is valuable though not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Three to six years of litigation-based practice experience in complex commercial matters.
• Experience in consumer or shareholder class actions, M&A litigation, securities litigation, governance disputes, real estate financing disputes, product liability, or multi-district/forum litigation.
• Excellent academic credentials with strong writing and analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Practice in all phases of general commercial, civil and business litigation.
• Represent national and international clients in various forums.
• Develop and manage discovery and e-discovery processes, depositions, and hearings.

We are actively recruiting an Associate Attorney to join an International Law Firms Business Litigation practice in the Dallas office. This position offers the opportunity to practice in all phases of general commercial, civil and business litigation matters with a national and international client base.

Candidates should have a steady background and prior experience in complex commercial litigation such as consumer or shareholder class actions, merger and acquisition litigation, securities litigation, corporate governance disputes, real estate financing and development disputes, product liability litigation, and/or multi-district or multi-forum litigation.

Successful candidates will have:

• An active membership in the Texas bar
• Three to six years of law firm experience in a litigation-based practice with particular emphasis on litigation procedure, including the discovery process and e-discovery
• Deposition, hearing and oral argument experience is a plus
• Excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization skills
• Writing and analytical skills are required
