Job summary

Confidential Employer in Maryland is seeking a seasoned business litigation attorney to join its growing team in Baltimore or Columbia. This full-time, onsite role requires admission to the Maryland Bar and at least 3 years of business litigation experience, including courtroom and trial work.

You will represent clients in complex disputes, manage all phases of litigation from pleadings through trial, conduct legal research, draft briefs, and collaborate closely with partners to develop

• Maryland Bar license required.

• Prior courtroom experience required.
• Actual trial experience required.
• Experience managing all phases of pre-trial discovery.
• Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex business and commercial litigation matters.
• Handle breach of contract, partnership disputes, business torts, and other commercial litigation cases.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, written discovery, document production, depositions, and motion practice.
• Prepare cases for trial and represent clients in court proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal memoranda and briefs.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and clients to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Deliver exceptional client service while managing multiple matters efficiently.
