At atCause Law Office, our Probate Administrator is the cornerstone of leadership within the Probate Department, supervising all Paralegals to ensure exceptional service delivery. What you will be responsible for
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on business formation, including drafting and reviewing articles of incorporation, bylaws, and operating agreements in compliance with Florida laws.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, such as partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, and commercial leases, ensuring client interests are protected.
  • Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management to support business operations and growth.
  • Represent clients in business disputes, including contract breaches, shareholder disputes, and other commercial litigation, in Florida courts or alternative dispute resolution settings.
  • Conduct legal research on Florida business laws, tax regulations, and industry-specific requirements to support strategic client advice.
  • Collaborate with estate planning and probate teams to provide integrated legal solutions for business owners, including succession planning and asset protection.
  • Maintain client relationships by delivering clear, timely, and solution-oriented legal guidance, addressing inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
  • Supervise paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring accurate document preparation and case management in business law matters.
Requirements
Who you are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience); advanced certification (e.g., paralegal certificate) preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in probate administration, legal operations, or a related supervisory role in a law firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of probate processes, estate administration, and Florida probate laws.
  • Proven experience supervising or mentoring legal support staff, preferably paralegals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for team, client, and court interactions.
  • Ability to lead and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Language Skills
