What you will be responsible for
  • Manage the Managing Attorney’s calendar, scheduling meetings, court appearances, and client consultations with precision.
  • Prepare and organize documents, presentations, and reports for legal and administrative purposes.
  • Handle confidential correspondence, including emails and calls, while prioritizing and filtering communications.
  • Act as a liaison between the Managing Attorney and internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Draft and edit professional correspondence and legal documents under the Managing Attorney’s guidance.
  • Coordinate firm events, such as client seminars or community outreach programs, managing logistics and follow-up.
  • Track deadlines for legal filings, client deliverables, and administrative tasks to keep the Managing Attorney on schedule.
  • Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and data privacy standards.
  • Support special projects, such as firm expansion initiatives or marketing efforts, to advance strategic goals.
Requirements
Who you are
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required; advanced certification such as an administrative professional or paralegal certificate is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an executive or legal assistant, preferably supporting senior leadership in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of legal office operations and terminology is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and case management software is essential.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
