Position Summary:



Works under the supervision of a Data Trust Analytic Team Leader or other data governance or analytic leadership appropriate for the scope of work. This supervision may be through a matrixed or direct reporting structure. Manages a team of analysts and/or developers who facilitate business intelligence processes and procedures development and implementation. Responsible for leading the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence applications. Identifies, researches, and resolves complex technical problems. Ensures that the use of business intelligence applications enhances clinical & business decision-making capabilities. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first-level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adheres to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.



Education:




  • Bachelor's Degree required, field of Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Healthcare, or equivalent preferred.

  • Master's Degree strongly preferred.



Required Licensure Certification, etc.:




  • EDW internal certification required within 6 months. A certification such as Certified Analytics Professional, project management, or acertification in a data analytic tool such as Tableau Software, or Epic required such as Epic Caboodle or Clarity Certification.



Work Experience:




  • A minimum of 5 years of experience supervising financial/ health care/educational/clinical data management with experience in program management, regulatory environments, data transformation, developing data analysis, systems design and reporting to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Requires demonstrated experience in project management or management as acquired during 3 years of progressiveexperience.

  • Experience with Business intelligence development tools such as tableau and SAS and programming tools such as R, Python, and SQL.

  • Requires demonstrated experience in project management or management and experience working with external vendors.


Salary Range: Minimum $49.07/hour - Maximum $85.89/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.



In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
