We're looking for someone who is bright, caring, personable, detail-oriented, understands legal concepts and analysis, is an excellent writer, and wants to be part of a "best and the brightest" business immigration team. The ideal candidate would have at least 2-4 years of business immigration experience including with L-1 and H-1B petitions, PERM labor certification, and the full array of NIV and IV matters.

As a Business Immigration Paralegal with our firm, you will:

• Meet or exceed monthly individual case filing goals.
• Work with clients to perform intake of cases, troubleshooting issues and establishing case strategy
• Analyze case documents and prepare business immigration applications for filing with the appropriate government agency
• Draft petitions, applications, and support letters detailing eligibility for visa classification and other immigration benefits for full array of employer-sponsored NIV and IV matters including H-1B, L-1 (both Blanket and Individual), E-3, TN, O-1, PERM, and EB-1C, EB-2, and EB-3
• Handle Request for Evidence (RFE) responses
• Communicate regularly with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural and case processing issues
• Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management systems
• Run reports as needed
• Work closely in team environment and provide updates while building knowledge of firm and client processes
• Be fluent with case management and other reporting tools and technologies used to manage data and information
• Work with moderate supervision and guidance and be accountable for your individual results and their impact on your team
• Receive continuous training and development on requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications

Requirements:

• At least 2-4 years of business immigration experience as a paralegal
• Possesses strong knowledge of procedural requirements for nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and client processes mentioned above
• A client service mindset, attention to detail and desire to achieve a high level of productivity
• Experience using various computer systems, including Microsoft Office suite and case management software, ideally INSZoom
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
• The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and escalate case issues to attorney
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to contribute to positive work environment, effectively collaborate and promote teamwork
