Job summary

BAL is seeking an Associate Attorney to manage immigration case work and lead a team of legal assistants in a fast-paced environment.

You will represent clients in business immigration matters, maintain ongoing client communication, and train Immigration Assistants and Paralegals. The role reports to a Partner or Senior Associate and emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and U.S. licensure to practice law.
• 1+ year of practicing corporate immigration law.
• Excellent English writing and oral communication.
• Strong organization and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all aspects of business immigration law.
• Maintain a high level of communication with all clients.
• Oversee and manage a team of legal assistants in case preparation work.
• Assign and prioritize case work and projects as needed.
• Train Immigration Assistants and Paralegals.
• Establish and maintain case work quality and consistency throughout the office.
• Liaise with other attorneys in the firm and share information regarding case preparation.
• Maintain accuracy to high-volume, rapid-turnover caseload.
• Assist clients/employees with intake processes and documents.
