2.The Opportunity:
We are seeking a senior business development leader to build our presence in AI data center liquid cooling.
This is a highly visible, entrepreneurial role with significant autonomy. The successful candidate will help define the go-to-market strategy, develop strategic accounts, identify product and certification requirements, and build the local commercial organization as the business grows.
You will have direct access to senior business leadership and strong support from our engineering, manufacturing, automation, and global supply-chain teams.
3.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for AI data center liquid cooling products and solutions.
- Build strategic relationships with hyperscalers, AI infrastructure providers, chip companies, server OEMs/ODMs, colocation providers, system integrators, and liquid cooling ecosystem partners.
- Identify customer requirements and translate market needs into actionable product, certification, service, and delivery plans.
- Develop qualified opportunities and manage the full commercial cycle, including customer engagement, technical discussions, RFQs, proposals, PoCs, vendor qualification, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Drive the introduction and adoption of cold plates, CDUs, manifolds, rack-level liquid cooling components, and integrated cooling solutions.
- Coordinate with engineering, product, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and executive leadership across the United States and Asia.
- Build a credible pipeline with clear account priorities, decision makers, project stages, risks, and revenue potential.
- Establish partnerships with technology providers, integrators, distributors, and local service organizations.
- Represent Han’s Laser at industry events such as OCP Global Summit, Data Center World, DCD, and other AI infrastructure conferences.
- Support the future development of sales and technical support team.
4.Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of business development, strategic account management, or technical sales experience in data center infrastructure, AI servers, liquid cooling, thermal management, or a closely related industry.
- Demonstrated experience developing strategic accounts and converting customer engagement into PoCs, vendor qualification, design‑ins, partnerships, or revenue.
- Established relationships within at least one of the following customer groups:
- Hyperscalers and cloud service providers
- AI infrastructure and GPU cloud companies
- Server OEMs/ODMs
- Semiconductor and chip platform companies
- Colocation and data center operators
- Data center cooling and integration partners
- Working knowledge of liquid cooling technologies such as cold plates, CDUs, manifolds, quick disconnects, rack‑level cooling, or facility water systems.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering and product teams on technical requirements, qualification processes, and customer validation.
- Strong commercial negotiation, stakeholder management, cross‑cultural communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently in an early‑stage business environment and build both market presence and internal operating structure.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working for a leading data center cooling company, server OEM/ODM, AI infrastructure provider, hyperscaler, or thermal management supplier.
Direct experience introducing new liquid cooling products into strategic accounts.
Experience with customer PoCs, supplier qualification, design‑in, NPI, UL certification, and global manufacturing programs.
Existing executive‑level relationships with hyperscalers, server companies, chip platforms, or major AI infrastructure customers.
Experience building a new market, business unit, channel ecosystem, or regional commercial team from the ground up.
Mandarin Chinese capability is a plus for collaboration with teams in Asia but is not required.
