Job summary

X Energy, LLC is seeking a results-driven Analyst to support the Global Business Development group in Gaithersburg. The role focuses on analyzing geographic, customer, market and competition data and aiding in structuring solutions for customer and project opportunities.

You will help develop and maintain project financial models, prepare business cases, and contribute to market forecasts and strategic presentations for leadership review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Typically, three years of relevant work experience.
• Experience supporting financial analysis or financial modeling activities and assisting with presentation preparation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly summarize analytical findings for non-financial stakeholders.
• Solid skills in data analysis, forecasting support, and scenario comparison, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering information to identify and research business development opportunities.
• Support energy market analysis and competitive research activities by collecting data, organizing findings, and preparing summaries for review.
• Work with other divisions to support Global Business Development team priorities.
• Support the development of strategies for structuring customer and project solutions.
• Help build and maintain project financial models and contribute to the preparation of business cases supporting customer relationship manager and structuring leads.
