X-energy, LLC in Gaithersburg, MD, is seeking an experienced Project Finance Analyst to support the Global Business Development group. You will help build structuring solutions for customers and projects, and contribute to financial models and business cases.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field and at least five years of relevant experience, with strong analytic and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field.
• At least five years of relevant work experience.
• Experience building/maintaining financial models including project debt and tax equity and supporting presentations to leadership.
• Strong communication and ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and researching business development opportunities.
• Conduct energy market analysis and competitive research by collecting data, organizing findings, and preparing summaries for review.
• Work with other divisions to support Global Business Development team priorities.
• Develop strategies for structuring customer and project solutions.
• Build and maintain project financial models and contribute to the preparation of business cases supporting customer relationship manager and structuring leads.
• Prepare market forecasts by compiling data from market research, historical results, and industry information.
