Why This Job

The Business Development Specialist will achieve sales targets through lead generation, civil engineering technical evaluation, and sales opportunity development activities. You will engage stakeholders and bring technical solutions to them. Your responsibilities include outreach, establishing & maintaining strong relationships with project stakeholders and distribution partners, tracking construction projects, coordinating field and marketing activities, and utilizing data, technology, and information systems to develop new business.

This is now a FULLY REMOTE position!

Some business travel required (10% or less).

What You'll Do
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders of target construction projects to propose technical solutions for our products
  • Perform construction drawing take-offs and run provisional Tensar+ evaluations to identify value creation potential, including preparing and presenting Value Engineering (VE) proposals
  • Track projects and follow up at key milestones
  • Collaborate with field and distribution partners to ensure successful sales outcomes
  • Lead the lead generation team
  • Expand sales network via outreach and digital engagement, including phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Maintain account and contact information accuracy in CRM systems
  • Achieve assigned sales targets
What You'll Need
  • 2-3 years’ experience in the construction industry preferred
  • Bilingual in English and French (verbal and written)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills
Your Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required
