FMH is seeking a highly motivated and creative Business Development Specialist to facilitate the exploration and execution of innovative business development initiatives. This individual will be a proactive strategic thinker who enjoys ‘connecting the dots’ between challenges and solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: 3+ years of experience supporting a variety of business projects simultaneously.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Project Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or other related field desired (Associate’s degree required).

Skills: Strong research, communication, and analytical skills. Must have exceptional organizational skills and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently and with ambiguity. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. Experience working with Formstack is desired. Experience with process mapping and planning tools such as Miro is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Explores, evaluates and executes innovative solutions for the benefit of the company.
• Facilitates multiple business initiatives simultaneously; projects may vary between small to moderate risk, visibility, complexity, and/or scope.
• Communicates with and gathers information from stakeholders on business needs; ensures IT, Legal and ethical compliance throughout the entire process.
• Conducts internal and external research using a variety of methods, tools, and/or modalities, including AI (Artificial Intelligence). Summarizes findings and provides thoughtful and thorough recommendations on next steps.
• Evaluates and meets with potential vendors for business solutions.
• Creates and stands up unique POCs (Proof of Concepts); hands off completed projects to the appropriate team.
• Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and/or innovation.
• Assists with other projects as needed and provides operational support to the wider team.
