Federal Express Corporation is seeking an acquisition specialist to close net-new business in the Washington, DC area, developing value propositions and tailored pricing to meet customer needs.
The role involves cross-functional collaboration, high-stakes negotiations, and regular in-person customer meetings within a major metro DC territory. Requires strong sales acumen and residency near Washington, DC.
As a member of a sales team, the acquisition specialist is responsible for closing net-new business within a defined geographic territory (major and metro markets). Responsible for developing value propositions and customized pricing and closing business by positioning solutions to meet the customer’s needs.
Bachelor's degree/equivalent (Equivalency reflected under minimum experience)
Four (4) years of business-to-business sales experience OR two (2) years of the Company's business-to-business sales experience required.

Moderate overnight travel required.
Prospecting and new business development, consultative and solution-based selling, value proposition development, pricing strategy, negotiation, closing new business, pipeline management, CRM proficiency, and strong business acumen. This is a customer-facing role requiring regular in-person meetings. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Washington, DC (20002) or nearby territory locations in Northern Virginia, Maryland, or Martinsburg, WV. Relocation assistance may be available.
Actual compensation is determined by experience, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position supports a major metro Washington, DC territory and requires regular in-person customer meetings throughout the assigned territory. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates in accordance with FedEx relocation guidelines.
$5,534.42 – $10,158.33 per month
