You Are a Great Fit for Our Team if You:

  • Ask good questions. We focus on consultative selling, and you will need to be able to identify what a prospect needs by asking the right questions.
  • You do not need to be a veteran in the field, but you do need to have a basic understanding of problems prospects frequently experience and solutions you would recommend for solving those issues.
  • Enjoy building relationships. You will need to build trust with a prospect through your expertise and the dialogue you share. The goal is to provide tailored solutions that provide value and drive long-term business relationships.
  • Work well with a team. We are looking for an individual who loves to drive the company forward and help others succeed. We focus on mutual support, collective problem-solving and sharing victories.
  • Results-driven self-starter: We are in search of a confident and self-motivated professional who recognizes that tangible results stem from proactive efforts. Someone who is undaunted by the prospect of initiating contact with potential clients and consistently strives to exceed key performance indicators without relenting in their pursuit of excellence.
  • Know your way around a computer. Looking for an individual who can navigate a computer and is familiar with Microsoft 365 Office products including Word for document creation, Excel for data analysis, PowerPoint for impactful presentations, and Outlook for efficient email and calendar management.
  • Generate new accounts using various prospecting methods including cold-calling, in-person, email, and referrals
  • Meet with customers, shippers, receivers, and present solutions
  • Stay current with market trends and competitor actions for strategic planning
  • Understand and research your prospects business, pain points and solutions
  • Determine, and negotiate, competitive rates for quoting and securing freight
  • Provide realistic pipeline and revenue forecasting for new and existing business
  • Respond to, and manage, RFQ / RFP requests
  • Travel for networking and business expansion as needed
  • Drive strategic partnerships for revenue growth, increase profitability, and collaborate across departments to enhance customer experience

Compensation:

$70,000/year Base Salary + Commission and Bonuses. Estimated Year One Total Compensation to be approximately $95,000 - $115,000/year

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
