As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by selling HVAC and plumbing maintenance agreements. Responsibilities
- Identify, sell, and negotiate HVAC/Plumbing service maintenance agreements within an assigned territory.
- Estimate, generate, and present effective sales proposals to new and existing clients.
- Assess clients' overall energy and operational costs, demonstrating how available services can reduce expenses.
- Meet and exceed sales activity schedules as set by a Sales Manager.
- Schedule and conduct customer service meetings to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
- Negotiate contract renewal increases or changes on a monthly basis.
- Generate a minimum of $150,000 in annual preventative maintenance sales.
- Maintain an active sales funnel of at least $100,000.
- Maintain a schedule of five first appointments each week for new preventative maintenance sales.
- Propose a minimum of five new preventative maintenance agreements each month.
- Maintain a customer retention rate of at least 94%.
- Develop new clients through networking and seeking referrals from current clients.
- Resolve client complaints with fast, solution-oriented thinking.
- Build positive rapport with clients and colleagues to foster constructive and effective relationships.
- Participate in department meetings and submit required reports (e.g., expense reports, sales reports, activity logs, and business plans) in a timely manner.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of outside sales and customer service experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of cold calling, warm calling, and high-volume prospecting experience.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- 2+ years of experience with mechanical systems and/or field experience in HVAC systems (preferred).
- A college or technical degree is preferred.
- Ability to see, hear (either naturally or with correction), and speak clearly.
- Ability to meet physical requirements including sitting, standing, gross and fine motor manipulation, climbing ladders, navigating attic and small access spaces, and heavy lifting.
- Comfortable navigating heights and unclean spaces.
- Ability to work extended hours when business needs demand.
