Business Development Representative – IT Sales (Big Data Solutions)
Greater Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid/Remote)


ARC Group is seeking a Business Development Representative to support growth initiatives for our client in the Big Data sector. This is a hybrid/remote role based in Greater Philadelphia, with occasional in-person meetings at the Warminster, PA office.

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven sales professional with a strong background in IT hardware and component sales, especially within enterprise-level organizations (>$1B annual revenue) and system integrators/white box builders (>$50M revenue). A successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of the IT ecosystem, including memory and storage solutions, and established relationships within the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities across North America
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Promote and sell a full portfolio of IT products and solutions, with a focus on memory and storage components
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience
  • Meet and exceed sales goals, quotas, and KPIs
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the curve
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT hardware/component or solution sales at the enterprise level
  • Proven success working with value-added resellers (VARs), integrators, and distributors
  • Strong experience selling OEM IT components (preferred vendors include: Apacer, Crucial, Dell, HPE, Kingston, Kioxia, Micron, Samsung, SK Hynix)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related field)
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of B2B IT services and infrastructure solutions
