The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a full-time, currently remote but ultimately preferably in-person role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for partial work from home. The BDR will prospect and qualify leads across wealth managers, financial institutions, family offices, and related segments to drive awareness and adoption of Abacus’s platform and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outbound outreach via email, phone, and social channels, nurturing inbound inquiries, and scheduling discovery meetings and product demonstrations for senior sales and leadership teams. The BDR will collaborate to refine messaging, maintain accurate CRM records, and contribute to pipeline reporting and performance metrics. This role also involves gathering market feedback, identifying opportunities for new partnerships, and representing Abacus in virtual and in-person events within the NYC metro financial community.
