What You Will Do as a Business Development Representative:

The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving revenue by growing established mid-tier reseller accounts (<$50,000 in annual sales) and identifying and cultivating new distributor accounts. This role involves engaging with potential and existing customers through digital communication and phone calls to promote Workwear Outfitters' products and services, as well as building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

How You Will Make a Difference:
  • Initiate outbound calls, emails, or other communication methods to connect with distributors.
  • Engage and open new distributor accounts that align with the company's growth strategy and business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions utilizing CRM tools.
  • Conduct presentations on products and services with new and existing customers. Address inquiries and objections to showcase the value proposition effectively.
  • Work towards monthly sales goals and adjust strategies to meet or exceed these goals.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, trends, and sales techniques. Participate in training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • This dynamic and fast-paced role requires effective communication, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to achieving sales objectives.
Skills for Success:
  • At least 3 years of remote sales experience with a proven record of achievements, including revenue growth, market share expansion, and account development.
  • Experience in B2B mid-market sales is preferred.
  • Experience in negotiating and closing complex sales opportunities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce.com) and sales enablement platforms.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve sales goals.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
