Description
ARC Health's Business Development Representative (BDR) will ensure the growth, development, and execution of the marketing and business development strategy consistent with the focus and goals of ARC Health's partnering provider groups. Primary geography will include the greater Cleveland, OH metroplex and Ann Arbor, MI. The BDR is responsible for analyzing opportunities in their geographic area and developing a business development plan to maximize referrals. They will work to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth by defining patient acquisition strategies, building relationships, identifying business opportunities, and maintaining market knowledge.
Requirements
Essential Functions
- Build awareness of mental health service lines through outreach such as cold calls, office visits, virtual meetings, presentations, and events.
- Utilize multi-channel sales approaches to grow and manage relationships within the medical community and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Intake, Operations, and Clinical Development to identify high-priority accounts for market growth.
- Provide feedback to Marketing and Intake to enhance patient lead generation and conversion.
- Develop and maintain relationships to generate patient referrals seeking psychiatric or psychological care.
- Work collaboratively to meet team goals.
- Design and execute market development plans for patient acquisition.
- Meet financial targets for the assigned geographic areas.
- Communicate business opportunities to leadership and improve referral processes.

Required Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1-2 years in industry-related business development and marketing.
- 1-2 years in B2B healthcare sales.
- 2+ years in referral development and management.
- Knowledge of successful development strategies.
- Experience in growing outpatient business, especially in mental healthcare.
- CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).
- Start-up experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel within NE Ohio and Ann Arbor, MI region.
