The Role of a Business Development Representative at Canonical

We consider our sales development organization to be the best technology sales academy in the market. We select exceptional and ambitious candidates who are organized, persistent, charismatic, and hardworking, with an interest in tech and its business implications. Your main goal will be to collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams to find customer projects fitting our product lines and promote Canonical across various industries and geographies.

The Role Entails
  • Execute outbound sales & marketing campaigns
  • Research prospective customers and market trends
  • Generate high-quality leads for Senior Sellers to build a pipeline
  • Own and close SMB opportunities within your territory
  • Collaborate across teams and with senior stakeholders
  • Help define team processes and policies
  • Travel to events and conferences worldwide, representing Canonical
