Position Summary
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is an outbound, field-based sales generator responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities for ATI. This role focuses on building early-stage relationships with multifamily property managers, facilities teams, commercial clients, insurance agents/brokers, maintenance managers, and other local referral sources.
As ATI's \"front-line\" market presence, the BDR prioritizes their time in the field performing structured outreach--new introductions, canvassing, hosting check-ins, and setting qualified meetings for Project Directors and other sales leaders. BDRs drive top-of-funnel pipeline growth, build brand visibility, and enhance ATI's presence in assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting & Territory Coverage
- Execute high-volume daily outreach, including new introductions, canvassing, call blocks, email sequences, and social touchpoints
- Build market awareness by routinely visiting multifamily communities, commercial buildings, real estate offices, insurance agencies, and local businesses
- Maintain a disciplined route coverage plan, ensuring consistent touchpoints across the territory
- Represent ATI's value proposition clearly and professionally to prospective clients
Lead Generation & Qualification
- Identify, engage, and qualify new opportunities aligned with ATI's target customer segments
- Set high-quality introductory meetings for BDMs, Sales VP, and/or Regional leadership
- Capture customer needs, property details, and opportunity context to support effective follow-up
- Document all activities, interactions, and leads in CRM (Salesforce) with 100% accuracy
Market Intelligence & Brand Building
- Gather and communicate real-time insights on competitiveness, local events, property changes, and customer needs
- Increase ATI visibility by distributing marketing materials, hosting drop-ins, and showing presence during weather events or property disruptions
- Support ATI at trade shows, association meetings, sponsorship events, and community engagements
Collaboration & Handoff Execution
- Partner closely with BDMs and Project Directors to transition leads, coordinate meetings, schedule property walkthroughs, and support account penetration plans
- Participate in weekly pipeline reviews with the office's Regional Manager and provide transparent activity reporting
- Align daily activity priorities to regional sales strategies and targeted accounts
Operational & Administrative Excellence
- Maintain CRM hygiene, activity logs, and territory plans
- Use ATI's sales tools, training programs, and process standards consistently
- Support BDMs and Regional Managers with storm response campaigns, marketing blitzes, and special initiatives
- May be asked to travel into impacted areas to canvas for new business
Education And Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, customer service, route-based field roles, or other high-activity commercial positions (preferred but not required)
- Experience in restoration, commercial services, property management, insurance, construction, or home services industries is a plus
- Salesforce or CRM experience preferred; strong willingness to learn required
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel daily within assigned territory
