Job Summary

The Inside Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for the field sales executives. The Inside BDR will manage inbound lead activity within their territory and conduct outbound prospecting to secure a sufficient flow of qualified opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Interact with prospects via telephone and email
• Partner with senior sellers and other internal partners to schedule First Time Appointments (FTA)
• Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
• Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
• Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with prospects
• Schedule First Time Appointments (FTAs) for the field sales executives
• Achieve or exceed assigned monthly and annual FTA and call quotas
• Maintain required activity reporting in Paycor’s CRM system

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• 0-3+ years proven track record of related work experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in business or business-related field preferred
• Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, enthusiasm and strong work ethic
• Able to excel in a fast-paced work environment without direct daily supervision
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, presentation, and organizational skills
• Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office, etc.)
• Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the hourly pay rate for this position to be between $16.00-$24.00. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
