Bellwether Technology Corporation is a premier IT service provider. We offer our clients a comprehensive IT department tailored to fit their individual priorities. Based in New Orleans, LA, since 1980, Bellwether is a managed IT services provider focused on serving businesses and organizations throughout southern Louisiana and the southeast.
We combine strong technical expertise with a highly collaborative, ownership-driven culture. Team members are encouraged to take initiative, learn continuously, and go the extra mile for both customers and colleagues. Bellwether is seeking a Business Development Representative to support continued growth across key North Carolina territories. This is a front-of-funnel sales role focused on generating new business opportunities, setting first-time appointments, qualifying leads, and building a strong foundation for a future career in full-cycle sales.
The Business Development Representative will work closely with Bellwether’s AccountExecutives and sales leadership to identify prospective clients, initiate outreach, uncover business needs, and help move qualified opportunities into the sales pipeline. This role is ideal for a motivated, early-career sales professional who is eager to learn consultative selling, build strong prospecting habits, and grow into an Account Executive role over time. While Account Executives own the full sales cycle through proposal and close, the Business Development Representative will focus primarily on the top of the funnel: prospecting, appointment setting, lead qualification, and early-stage relationship development.
