We are a fast-growing B2B Healthcare SaaS startup focused on helping post-acute care facilities (like nursing homes) operate more efficiently and profitably by enabling them to accept patients faster. Our innovative platform streamlines admissions, enhances decision-making, and optimizes financial performance. We are backed by strong industry expertise and are currently expanding our team.

Role Overview:

We are looking for our first Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive outbound sales efforts and generate new business opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and engaging skilled nursing facility decision-makers (e.g., owner/operators and admissions directors). We are looking for someone experienced who will drive the BDR function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Prospecting: Identify and engage prospective nursing home clients through cold calling, personalized email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
  • Lead Qualification: Research and qualify potential customers, understanding their pain points and aligning our solution to their needs.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule product demos and discovery calls for our Account Executives.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and lead status in our CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Industry Expertise: Stay informed about trends in post-acute care, skilled nursing reimbursement, and healthcare tech to tailor outreach effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to refine messaging and support lead-generation campaigns.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role in the healthcare and nursing home sector.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills—able to connect with decision-makers.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn) and handling objections.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track prospects.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient—you enjoy the challenge of opening new doors.
  • Passion for healthcare technology and improving efficiency in skilled nursing facilities.
