If you would like to join us, we are looking for a Business Development Representative that will help us continue to scale our financial advisor offering to some of the largest advisory firms nationwide.
About You:
You are an ambitious, driven professional looking to accelerate your sales career at a fast-growing SaaS company. You may already have BDR/SDR experience, or you may come from a customer-facing, business development, or sales-adjacent role where you’ve demonstrated strong communication, resilience, and a results-driven mindset.
You thrive on engaging new prospects, sparking conversations, and creating opportunities. Whether through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, or creative prospecting, you know how to connect with decision-makers and build rapport quickly.
You bring high business acumen and can quickly grasp industry trends, prospect pain points, and the value of a SaaS solution. You’re curious, eager to learn, and take feedback well. Above all, you’re organized, persistent, and self-motivated—someone who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced sales environment.
About the Role*:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be a critical part of our growth engine, responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities for our Account Executives (AEs). You’ll be proactively reaching out to financial advisory firms, RIAs, and Broker-Dealers, helping drive new business and increase market share.
Your focus will be on pipeline generation—strategically identifying, researching, and engaging potential customers to create opportunities that contribute to ARR growth.
*This is an hourly, non-exempt role
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research key prospects in our most important sales channels (Financial Advisory, RIAs, Broker-Dealers).

- Qualify and nurture leads, ensuring strong alignment before booking meetings with Account Executives.
- Take a consultative approach—listen to prospects, identify their challenges, and position our solution effectively.
- Manage your pipeline effectively, tracking outreach, follow-ups, and lead progression in our CRM.
- Collaborate with AEs and leadership, sharing insights and refining outreach strategies.
- Represent our company and brand professionally, creating a strong first impression with prospects.
- Continuously improve sales skills—participate in coaching, training, and industry learning to refine your craft.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, customer success, or another outbound, customer-facing role (BDR/SDR experience preferred but not required).
- Strong business acumen—able to quickly understand industry trends, prospect pain points, and decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication skills—you are a great writer, speaker, and active listener.
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting—willing to make cold calls, send outreach emails, and engage executives.
- Highly organized and process-driven—able to manage a high volume of leads and outreach activities.
- Self-motivated and coachable—you thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and actively seek feedback to improve.
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn and use CRM and sales engagement tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, etc.).
- Resilient and persistent—you understand that outbound sales requires creativity, hustle, and follow-through.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience working with Financial Institutions, Financial Advisors, Employee Benefits, or Unions.
- Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS or fintech startup.
- A track record of exceeding sales quotas or outbound activity targets.
- Familiarity with multi-channel sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesloft, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
