Northland Area Federal Credit Union in Alpena, MI, is seeking a Business Development Officer in Business Lending to build relationships with local businesses and help entrepreneurs grow within the community.

This full-time role focuses on developing new business relationships, strengthening existing partnerships, and connecting businesses with financial solutions while representing the Credit Union in the service area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• NMLS licensing or ability to obtain required.
• Experience in business development, lending, or financial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business loan and deposit relationships.
• Grow and strengthen existing member partnerships.
• Represent the Credit Union at community and business events.
• Recommend business products and financial solutions.

What Is the Role?

Be the face of Northland in the business community!

This is a Full Time Business Development Officer position where you'll develop new business relationships, strengthen existing partnerships, and connect local businesses with financial solutions that help them grow. You'll work closely with business owners, community leaders, and our internal teams to identify opportunities, generate loans and deposits, and represent the Credit Union throughout our service area.
