Job summary

Commonwealth Building, Inc. in Rockland, MA is seeking an experienced Manager of Business Development & Marketing to drive growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and leading the company’s BD and marketing initiatives.

You will work across proposals, branding, and digital channels to expand market presence. The role involves collaborating with leadership, Pre-Construction, Estimating, and Project Management to pursue opportunities, coordinate RFP responses,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3–5 years in business development, sales, lead generation, client relationships, or marketing.
• Experience within the AEC industry strongly preferred.
• Strong ability to develop relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
• Develop client relationships, manage proposals, and support RFP responses.
• Lead marketing initiatives and manage brand development and campaigns.
• Oversee CRM system, pipelines, and reporting to leadership.
• Coordinate with Pre-Construction, Estimating, PM teams on opportunities.
