Company Profile:

Our client is an internationally based technology company specializing in custom computing solutions with over 20 years of experience. They design, manufacture, and integrate specialized computing systems, including industrial and defense computing, embedded systems, and IoT solutions for industries such as defense, automation, and healthcare. They are expanding across North America and seek a talented Business Development Manager to generate new revenue within a key vertical.

Job Description:
  • Lead Generation and Customer Development: Develop targeting plans, proactively engage potential customers, and cultivate key accounts to grow business.
  • Relationship Building and Networking: Nurture relationships, attend industry events, and maintain detailed records in CRM systems like HubSpot.
  • Quoting, Proposals, and Target Management: Prepare proposals, manage sales pipelines, and ensure sales forecasts meet targets.
Requirements:
  • 3-5+ years of experience selling hardware solutions, including specialized computers (integrated racks, tablets, panel PCs, embedded computing), integrated systems, sub-systems, and IoT device design.
  • Key Vertical Focus: Industrial Automation or Medical Devices
  • Experience working for an international organization, process-oriented approach, and a proven track record of building high-performing sales teams are preferred.
Location:

This is a remote role. Candidates should be comfortable working flexible hours and traveling 25-40% across North America. Ideal candidates are based in the Central time zone.
