Business Development Manager – SaaS B2B MSP Sales Hunter

Innova Solutions is hiring for our client, who specializes in providing IT management solutions for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and IT departments. Their platform includes a variety of tools and services designed to help businesses manage, secure, and grow their IT operations.

  • Professional Services Automation (PSA): Helps manage business processes, including ticketing, billing, and project management.
  • Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM): Allows for the monitoring and management of IT infrastructure remotely.
  • Cybersecurity Solutions: Provides tools to protect against cyber threats and ensure data security.
  • Data Protection: Offers backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Unified Management: Integrates various IT management functions into a single platform for ease of use

General Summary

The Business Development Manager plays a key role in expanding our partner base, acquiring new partnerships, and selling innovative software solutions. This position collaborates closely with the broader Sales team to manage the sales cycle from initial outreach to closing, ensuring continuous business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support cross-functional teams with high attention to detail.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and documentation to inform sales strategies.
  • Provide mentorship, review, and delegation of tasks within the team.
  • Drive annual sales growth, securing contracts that align with company goals.
  • Manage prospects and partners within the Ideal Customer Profile and assigned territories.
  • Execute a value-based sales approach in line with ConnectWise methodologies.
  • Identify new opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and business reviews.
  • Close deals that meet pricing, margin, and contractual standards.
  • Average sales volume: 85 transactions per year
  • Typical sales cycle: 25–30 days

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospective and existing accounts.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, discounts, and implementation strategies.
  • Manage large-scale projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, adapting to new technologies and partner needs.
  • Make 40–50 outbound calls daily, engaging potential clients effectively.
  • Stay informed about Managed Service Providers (MSP), Technology Service Providers (TSP), and Security industry trends.
  • Leverage resources to maximize business development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in business development or sales.
  • Work environment: Onsite, hybrid, or remote (depending on location).
  • Travel: 0–10% (as required).

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
