Job Summary

Assist in the development and sale of Capital Equipment Medical Devices to Hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, VA, and DOD Facilities, physicians, and providers. Work from home when not on the road.

Responsibilities
  1. Set up customer visits to observe equipment in use, discuss features, and highlight salable aspects.
  2. Quote pricing, financial options, and coordinate with operations to prepare sales contracts.
  3. Collaborate daily/weekly with Territory Managers, Associate Managers, and Service Managers.
  4. Travel throughout the territory to engage prospective customers regarding budgets, project statuses, room measurements, and updates.
  5. Compile lists of prospective customers from cold calling, trade shows, directories, and other sources.
  6. Communicate effectively via phone and email with hospital staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
  7. Maintain reports of business transactions and update expense accounts.
  8. Perform administrative tasks related to Salesforce activities and opportunities.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Business Development Manager.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university, preferably in business, marketing, communications, or life sciences.
  • Experience selling capital equipment such as C-ARMs, MRI, Robotics, Imaging Systems, etc.
  • 4-7 years of outside B2B sales experience, ideally in the medical device field.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (around 60%), including overnight stays and airline travel.
  • Reside reasonably close to a major airport (within about an hour).
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience working in or selling to customers in an OR setting.
  • Urology sales or related experience.
