Position Overview

The Business Development team at Chorus One is expanding in the EMEA region and is seeking a self-motivated, results-driven individual to sell staking services to global institutions, enabling them to earn additional income from their crypto assets.

Responsibilities
  • Building Relationships: Leverage existing relationships and establish new ones with institutional investors, financial institutions, and integration partners to create new business opportunities. Represent Chorus One at industry events and conferences to build relationships and drive growth.
  • Customer Focus: Develop a deep understanding of institutional clients' needs and pain points to design compelling solutions. Identify and build relationships with potential clients, including family offices, hedge funds, asset managers, and other financial institutions.
  • Sales Effectiveness: Collaborate with the Global Head of BD and Sales and the Head of EMEA to execute sales strategies, define and meet KPIs, perform outreach campaigns, and provide regular feedback and reports.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow Chorus One’s institutional client base. Manage the entire sales process in Salesforce, from lead generation to closing deals. Prepare and deliver presentations that communicate our value proposition effectively.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work seamlessly with internal departments to align offerings with client needs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Cultivate a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem, especially Proof-of-Stake networks, and have basic knowledge of the regulations and trends across the EMEA markets.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in institutional sales and relationship management within the financial services industry in EMEA.
  • Minimum 2 years of Business Development experience in the blockchain ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and risk assessment experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and build strong relationships with institutional clients.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for conferences and meetings.
