We require an outstanding individual to help increase our market share by developing and executing pursuit strategies for high-value infrared cameras. You will lead proposal processes for pursuits and support key customers by anticipating future requirements to secure major programs. You will collaborate within a diverse Business Development Team and other departments such as product management, services, engineering, and compliance.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the global Business Development & Sales Team in executing Teledyne FLIR’s objectives worldwide for Airborne Defense products.
  • Cover the wider Defense portfolio in Poland and collaborate with the BDS Team to meet revenue targets.
  • Analyze market needs and competitive scenarios, providing feedback to leadership.
  • Promote, develop, and conclude sales of FLIR Systems’ products in the end-user market and/or assigned territory.
  • Manage the Business Development process focusing on growth and success in campaigns and programs, including operational tasks like licensing.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Polish and Eastern European end users, from promotion to post-delivery.
  • Manage customer relationships within the region, responding promptly to RFQs, RFPs, demos, and information requests.
  • Meet or exceed revenue forecasts.

Job Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a similar defense environment.
  • Experience in the Airborne Defense market is advantageous.
  • Ability to work at all organizational levels.
  • Proven strategic selling experience, especially with government end users (Military, Border Guard, Police) through various channels.
  • Technical aptitude and experience with government tenders and bids, with strong persuasive skills.
  • Motivated to achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Understanding of business principles, government procurement, and technical product factors is beneficial.
  • Military background is a plus.
  • Teamwork ethic and excellent computer skills for proposals, presentations, and CRM.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and analyze data for future investments.
  • Fluent in English and Polish; German is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Knowledge of export regulations and licensing.
  • Track record in business development and closing campaigns is advantageous.
  • Independent worker, self-starter, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
  • Security clearance for Poland is required.

This role is home-based, open to residents of Germany, Sweden, Spain, Italy, and the UK. The position involves access to export-controlled information, requiring appropriate licensing from U.S. and Polish authorities.
