Job Responsibilities
- Lead a team of sales professionals to grow sales and capture new business.
- Build solid relationships with customers, vendors, distributors, and internal teams.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable opportunities.
- Review sales data, trends, and competitors to optimize sales volume and product mix.
- Create sales action plans for new product launches and customer prospecting.
- Support marketing efforts by providing market and competitive insights.
- Prepare documentation for requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Research emerging trends and recommend new offerings to meet market needs.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships to expand business.
- Evaluate and improve existing partnerships and sales strategies.
- Manage key client relationships and develop new ones.
- Build internal and external relationships to increase lead generation and market share.
- Build cross-functional teams to support sustainable growth.
- Track emerging markets and trends.
- Identify and develop new market opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Advise on product development, distribution, and promotion strategies.
- Conduct presentations to enhance brand or product visibility.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of business development experience in the epoxy or resin industry (commercial sales).
- Existing contacts with at least 5 accounts generating over $5,000 each.
- High School Diploma.
Preferred Skills
- 2+ years of leadership managing sales teams.
- Experience with sales strategies for new product launches.
- Customer contact list within the resin industry.
- Experience with CRM systems.
Additional Details
