This is a fully remote (home office) based role and can be located in any of the following states: WA; OR; CA. The salary range for this role is: $92,345.21 - $157,063.90

Overview: The BDM – Club West will drive the achievement of merchandising, assortment, pricing, and rotation objectives for the Costco West Region. This role involves strategic collaboration, decision-making agility, and financial acumen to meet revenue and profit goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver key financial metrics against AOP sales with an aligned trade spend plan.
• Develop customer-specific objectives supporting Del Monte’s strategic plan for Costco West (Center Store, Produce, Beverage, Frozen).
• Achieve new item, assortment, pricing, and merchandising goals.
• Provide updates and insights to internal Del Monte teams, customizing product development and merchandising strategies for the Club Channel.

JBP Partnership Development:

• Meet annual and key merchandising objectives.
• Manage everyday pricing within GTMS.
• Grow and maintain GDPs.
• Drive market share in select categories.
• Develop and track annual fiscal plans for continued growth.

Capabilities Development:

• Utilize cross-functional resources to drive volume and share growth.
• Manage business forecasting and ensure financials are on track.
• Translate Del Monte Consumer strategies into customer-level business plans.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams for successful execution of new items and promotions.

Customer Meeting Support:

• Coordinate and attend sales/review/innovation presentations.
• Deliver best-in-class presentation materials and insights.
• Facilitate meetings with customer cross-functional departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required.
• 5-7 years of retail sales experience in the consumer packaged goods industry or broker.
• Direct Business Development experience within Costco
• Proven success in retail grocery with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, syndicated data, and PowerPoint.

• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and internal teams.

• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes with customers.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales Finance, Supply Chain, and Category Leadership.
