The Opportunity

Hint, one of the fastest-growing beverage brands in the US, seeks a high-energy, results-driven National Accounts Manager for Club to help scale our growth in the Mid-Atlantic to Southeast Region. Reporting to the SVP, Sales, this role manages key national accounts in the Club channel (e.g., Costco, Sam's Club), supporting all sales cycle aspects, including existing account and distributor management. A proactive approach is essential.

The ideal candidate is hungry for success, always seeking new opportunities to grow revenue and relationships within the Club channel. You enjoy finding solutions for clients and strive for mutually beneficial goals. You will work with a driven, supportive team tackling new challenges.

This is an individual contributor role. The position is remote, but proximity to a major airport is preferred due to travel requirements.

What You Will Do
  • Build & manage relationships with Club accounts and other key national/regional accounts, including grocery, natural, and specialty chains.
  • Develop and implement account strategies, including promotional and display plans, to meet brand, volume, and KPI objectives.
  • Manage trade spend to goals with customers and brokers.
  • Manage broker relationships.
  • Create analyses and presentations to increase feature/display activity, expand distribution, and optimize shelf presence.
  • Execute customer development strategies proactively.
  • Communicate account progress, pricing, promotions, displays, resets, and setbacks to all relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with field sales to develop and communicate execution standards for key events.
  • Use category management to maximize distribution, shelf presence, and display impact.
  • Maintain and analyze distributor and market data; prepare reports for senior management.
  • Stay informed on the competitive landscape.
  • Spend approximately 80% of time selling and managing customer relationships, with the remainder in retail account visits to share best practices and identify opportunities.
  • Travel via car, train, subway, taxi, and air as needed.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience in account management, with 4+ years managing key retail accounts (Grocery, Natural, Mass, Club, etc.)
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in club retail channels like Costco, Sam's, BJ's
  • Experience in both large and small brand companies
  • Trade management expertise
  • Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Google Docs)
  • Experience with multiple RTM models (DSD, KeHE, Direct, etc.)
  • Retail promotional planning skills
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experience with Joint Business Planning
  • Proactive, with a strong sense of urgency and positive attitude
