Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Business Development Manager – Claims to lead growth of our Claims, Disputes, and Change Management practice across the Western United States. You will leverage your network and strategic BD expertise to identify opportunities and build client relationships in transportation, infrastructure, water, energy and buildings markets.

The role requires 12+ years in related advisory services, strong client leadership, and an established industry network.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in construction, infrastructure, claims consulting, or related advisory services.
• Proven success in business development, account growth and client relationship management.
• Established industry network within infrastructure, transportation, engineering, consulting, legal, or construction sectors.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development initiatives and market expansion strategies.

• Identify and pursue opportunities within major capital programs and complex infrastructure projects.
• Lead strategic pursuits, proposals, presentations, and client engagement activities.
• Partner with subject matter experts to deliver innovative claims, dispute resolution, and change management solutions.
• Contribute directly to revenue growth and long-term client success.

Role description:

Are you a relationship-driven business developer with a passion for construction, infrastructure, claims, and project advisory services? Arcadis is seeking a Business Development Manager – Claims to lead the growth of our Claims, Disputes, and Change Management practice across the Western United States. In this highly visible role, you'll leverage your industry network, market knowledge, and strategic business development expertise to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and expand our presence across transportation, infrastructure, water, energy, and buildings markets.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• 12+ years of experience in construction, infrastructure, project controls, claims consulting, dispute resolution, change management, or related advisory services
• Proven success in business development, account growth, and client relationship management
• Established industry network within infrastructure, transportation, engineering, consulting, legal, or construction sectors
• Strong understanding of claims, project controls, schedule analysis, dispute resolution, and capital project delivery
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills

Preferred Experience

• Heavy civil, transportation, water, buildings, or major infrastructure projects
• Certifications such as CCM, PMP, PSP, CFCC, MRICS, or similar
• Experience supporting large and complex capital programs
• CA PE license preferred but is not required.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $220,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
