Job summary

Eurofins Calibration, Certification & Metrology is seeking a results-oriented Business Development Manager to grow CCM services for biopharma and medical device clients. This role requires understanding ISO/IEC 17025 and a passion for helping customers maintain compliance and uptime.

The position targets expanding accounts, developing strategic sales plans, and selling long-term service contracts with a focus on cost control and asset history.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in life sciences, environmental sciences, engineering, or business administration.
• 3+ years of directly relevant sales experience in instrument calibration/metrology services.
• Experience selling recurring service contracts and/or asset management programs.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to instrument qualification/calibration (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI).
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to travel at least 40% of the time.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed the annual revenue target for the CCM service line by expanding existing accounts and prospecting for new ones.
• Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy for instrument qualification/calibration services, covering new construction and expansions and conversion of OEM/multi-vendor fleets.
• Position CCM as a single-source alternative to OEM and third-party service contracts, emphasizing cost control and uptime.
• Sell multi-year, recurring service agreements and manage renewals to protect and grow recurring revenue.
• Lead in-person client meetings, stakeholder discussions, and CCM contract closures; target ~15 meetings/month.
• Maintain CRM opportunity pipeline; follow up on proposals and capture details of closures; report wins/losses monthly.
• Assist CCM program management, translating client needs into technical work scopes meeting standards (NIST/ANSI/ISO).
• Facilitate hand-off meetings with project management for successful execution.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and maintain innovation.
• Attend industry conferences to network and promote services.
