Job summary

NAPA Auto Care in Billings, MT seeks a results-driven Territory Sales Consultant to grow the Auto Care program and increase NAPA parts sales across the assigned territory.

You will enroll new members, deliver trainings, present program value, and coordinate with NAPA Auto Care HQ for feedback. Travel up to 50% and events attendance required, with targets aligned to growth plans.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of selling and account management experience.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel in territory.

  • Proficient in CRM and sales tools.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand Auto Care program adoption to increase NAPA parts sales.
  • Communicate and execute Auto Care initiatives, new member enrollment, program adoption, sales promotions, and program training.
  • Present, communicate, and sell prospects on the value of joining the NAPA Auto Care program.
  • Collaborate with NAPA Auto Care HQ to provide feedback, ideas, and field insights.
  • Drive program adoption, new membership, AAA dual enrollments, Autotech training, and sales goals.
  • Host meetings in the assigned territory to train local sales teams on program adoption and utilization.
  • Achieve territory quotas for sales, new members, and co-branded projects.
  • Visit NAPA Auto Care members regularly to support program adoption, understand needs, present solutions, and communicate program changes.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of NAPA Auto Care programs and member options.
  • Review monthly initiatives with the sales team
  • Execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales plans to achieve growth objectives.
  • Execute sales programs and strategies to improve territory, distribution center, district, and area business effectiveness.
  • Attend events and trade shows, including NAPA Autotech market training.

Job description

  • Develop and expand Auto Care program adoption to increase NAPA parts sales
  • Communicate and execute Auto Care strategic initiatives, new member enrollment, program adoption, sales promotions, and program training
  • Present, communicate, and sell prospects on the value of joining the NAPA Auto Care program
  • Collaborate with NAPA Auto Care HQ to provide feedback, ideas, and field insights
  • Drive program adoption, new membership, AAA dual enrollments, Autotech training, and sales goals
  • Host meetings in the assigned territory to train local sales teams on program adoption and utilization
  • Achieve territory quotas for sales, new members, and co-branded projects
  • Assist local BDGs with meeting management, community events, and consumer and member marketing
  • Visit NAPA Auto Care members regularly to support program adoption, understand needs, present solutions, and communicate program changes
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of NAPA Auto Care programs and member options
  • Review monthly initiatives with the sales team
  • Execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales plans to achieve growth objectives
  • Execute sales programs and strategies to improve territory, distribution center, district, and area business effectiveness
  • Conduct periodic account reviews and update management on progress indicators
  • Attend, organize, and manage events and trade shows, including NAPA Autotech market training
  • Monitor the Auto Care member site and NAPA Connect for updates
  • Ensure members in the market have access to the member site
  • Consistently meet or exceed yearly targets
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of previous selling and account management experience
  • Solid record of developing new business while maintaining and growing existing business
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory, including account meetings, sales meetings, long-distance driving, multiple daily sales calls, and overnight stays as required
  • Ability to understand and apply sales principles, techniques, and processes
  • Clear and persuasive communication skills focused on customer needs and relationship building
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales targets and understand deal structure for sales and profit objectives
  • Deep understanding of product specifications, features, benefits, and brand differentiators
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, inventory management software, and other sales tools
  • Ability to use digital platforms for customer engagement
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales/marketing experience preferred
  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods in varied conditions
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
  • Specific visual abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to attend events after hours and/or on weekends
  • Travel requirements of up to 50% at any given time
