Protegrity Business Development Manager Job Description

Protegrity, a leading provider of data protection solutions, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our rapidly growing Inside Sales team. You will be responsible for driving interest in the Protegrity Platform among decision makers across various industries, including Financial Services, Healthcare, and Retail. Your role involves developing sales strategies, executing go-to-market plans, and enabling the sales team to achieve long-term success with enterprise clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead prospecting efforts in the North American market to generate new business opportunities.
  2. Research target clients, qualify their needs, and handle objections effectively.
  3. Work with various lead sources such as inbound inquiries, outbound prospecting, campaigns, and events.
  4. Secure initial meetings with enterprise sales teams and convert prospects into sales leads.
  5. Manage and improve your sales pipeline and KPIs regularly.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong sales mindset with the ability to assess prospects' Budget, Authority, Need, and Timing.
  2. Focus on prospecting and acquiring new clients.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Entrepreneurial spirit and resourcefulness.
  5. Experience with Salesforce and maintaining CRM hygiene (preferred).
  6. Business-level English proficiency is required.
  7. Experience in cybersecurity, cloud, data privacy, big data, or AI/analytics markets is preferred.
  8. Knowledge of software sales, SaaS is preferred.

Salary Range: $53,000 - $96,720 annually. For residents of Canada, CA, WA, NY, and CO, the range is C$53,920 - C$96,000 plus variable earnings. Compensation depends on factors such as location, experience, and performance.
