Qualifications

Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead client acquisition efforts, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth. As a key member of our growth team, you will identify new business opportunities, nurture relationships, and present KMC Technologies’ service offerings to decision-makers across industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in IT services (custom development, cloud, AI, analytics, consulting).
  • Develop and execute a targeted business development strategy to grow client base.
  • Build and manage relationships with prospects, clients, and partners.
  • Understand client needs and propose tailored IT solutions.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to create proposals, RFP responses, and project estimates.
  • Maintain a pipeline using CRM tools and report regularly on performance.
  • Represent KMC Technologies at networking events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B business development or sales, preferably in IT services.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT service offerings (software development, cloud, analytics, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipeline management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with mid-market or enterprise clients.
  • Existing network of potential clients in the tech or related industries.
  • Understanding of AI and cloud-based services is a plus.
