Business Development Manager – East Coast, US Preferred

Location: Remote (East Coast preferred)

About the Role:

A mission-driven patient recruitment and retention company is seeking a proactive and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to expand its client base across biotech, pharmaceutical, and CRO organizations. This role will focus on identifying and converting new business opportunities, fostering long-term partnerships, and delivering tailored solutions that support clinical trial enrolment success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at sponsor companies and CROs.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Understand client needs and offer customized strategies to meet their patient recruitment goals.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and delivery.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
• Maintain accurate sales metrics and reporting in CRM systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 3–7 years of experience in business development or account management, ideally within clinical research, CRO, or patient recruitment.
• Solid understanding of clinical trial operations and enrolment challenges.
• Strong communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
• Self-motivated and adaptable to a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
• Located on the East Coast US or open to travel as required.
• Prior experience working with biotech or CRO clients is a strong plus.
