Position Overview


C&S is seeking a business development professional to support its aviation, facilities, and transportation growth in our Southeast region. This position will be based in a C&S office in either Tampa or Orlando. Travel within, and occasionally outside, the region is required.


This position reports to the Vice President of Business Development and will coordinate significantly with our different Service Groups.


The successful candidate will:



  • Identify and direct prospective sales efforts in the Southeast marketplace and implement strategic sales plans consistent with the Aviation, Transportation, and Facilities group's objectives.

  • Support the regional client base and develop new opportunities within existing customer organizations.

  • Attended board meetings of client organizations.

  • Lead and support the technical team with strategic pursuits through the pre-sell, proposal, and interview stages.

  • Work collaboratively with project and client managers.

  • Actively participate in target-client industry trade associations and strategic community activities for team visibility and lead generation.

  • Represent the organization and build client/teammate networks via industry conferences, trade shows, and special events.

  • Collaborate with other business development staff at C&S.

  • Develop and contribute to marketing pieces, white papers, newsletters, social media and other communications demonstrating C&S aviation, transportation and facilities thought leadership and Southeast Region connection.


Preferred qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or technical field.

  • Minimum five years' experience in the business development profession or design/construction industry.

  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Experience in aviation and/or transportation, particularly Florida


Estimated Compensation Range and Benefits


$120,000 - $150,000/year*


*Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
