Job summary

Elwood Staffing is hiring a Business Development Manager in Newnan, GA. The role combines sales prospecting, solution selling, and account growth, with a focus on building sustainable client partnerships.

You will travel locally 60-70% weekly, receive auto allowance, and work with a supportive team to deliver tailored staffing solutions to diverse businesses.

Qualifications

• Outside sales or new account business development experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with urgency and collaboration.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Identify leads, qualify prospective business, create proposals, present to clients, and build new partnerships.
• Local travel 60-70% throughout the week with auto allowance provided.
• Present customized solutions that address prospective clients’ business needs.
• Drive negotiations, close accounts, and onboard new clients with service-delivery support.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

• Identify leads, qualify prospective business, create proposals, present to clients, and create new sustainable business partnerships.
• Local travel 60-70% throughout the week - auto allowance provided! (This is not remote)
• Present customized solutions that demonstrate a clear understanding of the prospective client's business needs.
• Actively drive negotiations, close, and onboard new accounts while working with a service team to provide service delivery.

Business Development Manager Qualifications:

• Outside sales or new account business development experience is preferred but not required!
• Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A valid driver's license is required for this role to travel between the branch and prospect/client locations.
