Business Development Manager - Healthcare
Summary
Lead the launch and growth of a new cross-border healthcare service connecting U.S. patients with high-quality and cost-effective healthcare in Japan.
Essential Duties
- Lead the launch and expansion of a new healthcare service in the U.S.
- Build and manage landing pages, website, CRM, payment systems, and other operational infrastructure with external vendors
- Develop patient acquisition strategies through information sessions, webinars, and other marketing activities
- Manage the end-to-end patient journey from initial consultation through treatment coordination and post-treatment follow-up
- Develop B2B sales opportunities with employers, HR departments, healthcare providers, and other organizations
- Develop partnerships with insurance companies and third-party administrators (TPAs)
- Build referral partnerships with U.S. clinics and medical providers
- Plan and execute B2B marketing initiatives, including content, webinars, trade shows, and industry events
- Establish and monitor KPIs and improve performance across each business channel
- Build and manage relationships with vendors and partners, including travel agencies, interpreters, and insurance providers
- Coordinate medical service operations between the U.S. team and Japan headquarters
Working Hours / Working Style
Full-time, Monday-Friday
In-office position with a startup-style, hands-on working environment
Working Location
DFW, TX Area (Exact location to be determined)
Salary / Benefit
- $85K-$130K/year, depending on experience and qualifications
- Performance bonus TBD

Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in the U.S.
- Proven B2B sales experience with businesses, insurers, healthcare providers, or similar organizations
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Native-level or fully fluent English
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to adapt and execute in a startup or rapidly changing environment
- Ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and drive projects forward
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, medical coordination, or insurance
- Japanese language skills
- Experience launching or operating SaaS or subscription-based businesses
- Experience using CRM or marketing automation tools
- Cross-border business or multinational team experience
