Business Development Manager

Role overview

As our Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of Breww’s ambitious growth strategy to further develop and expand into the US market (currently at 100 USA breweries)!

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a goal-oriented and strategic individual to build and scale our presence in the US, leveraging your expertise, industry knowledge, and flair.

As one of the first members of our US team, you will help develop and execute a comprehensive market strategy, establish key partnerships, build brand awareness, and pave the way for scalable growth across the territory.

The growth potential is significant as we expand our US customer base, establish a physical presence, and cement Breww as the preferred choice for breweries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Management: Manage your assigned territory and develop a sales strategy to achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential customers via industry events, networking, cold outreach, and marketing initiatives.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with brewery owners, managers, and decision-makers. Understand their needs to effectively position Breww's solutions.
  • Sales Presentations and Demos: Collaborate with the Solutions Consultant to conduct impactful demonstrations tailored to customer needs, highlighting Breww’s benefits.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Follow up, negotiate, manage the sales pipeline, and close deals to meet or exceed targets.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities to position Breww advantageously in the US.
  • Collaboration: Work with Product Development, Customer Success, and other teams to ensure seamless customer experience and provide feedback for product improvement.
  • Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline status in CRM; present regular updates to management.

About you

  • Relationship Builder: Ability to develop and sustain long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Self-Motivated: Confident, proactive, and collaborative.
  • Skills: Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to understand complex software solutions and convey their value.
  • Strategic Thinker: Capable of developing and executing strategic sales plans with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Growth Mindset: Eager to learn and evolve, with a desire to take on new responsibilities in a fast-growing environment.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in sales, preferably within the brewery, beverage, or related industry.
  • Location: Reside within a commutable distance to Charlotte, North Carolina.
  • Travel: Up to 20% travel required; flexible scheduling to accommodate personal responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $60,000 - $80,000 base salary, depending on experience.
  • Uncapped monthly commissions; OTE between $80,000 - $110,000.
  • 15 days PTO, 5 paid sick days, plus federal holidays.
  • 401(k) plan.
  • Remote role with WeWork or similar workspace subscription.
