Position Overview We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to drive company growth by developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies. A significant part of this role involves actively representing Care Indeed at external events, networking functions, and community partnerships to expand our client base and market presence. The Business Development Manager will generate high-quality leads, convert them into loyal clients, and foster long-term business relationships, ensuring Care Indeed remains competitive and innovative in the home care and medical staffing industry.

Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed revenue goals and expand market share
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, customers, and partnerships
- Actively attend, participate in, and represent Care Indeed at industry events, conferences, networking functions, and community gatherings to build relationships and generate leads
- Arrange, coordinate, and host informational sessions, workshops, and outreach events to engage potential clients, referral sources, and community partners
- Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with referral networks, healthcare providers, community organizations, and other key stakeholders
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Generate interest in Care Indeed’s services, nurture leads, and convert prospects into loyal clients
- Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and contracts to secure new business
- Set clear, periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) sales goals and objectives; monitor and report on progress
- Supervise and mentor sales staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, finance) to align business development efforts with company objectives
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, revenue, and client communications
- Provide recommendations for improving or adding new service offerings based on client feedback and market research
- Ensure a positive and professional presence at all external engagements, upholding Care Indeed’s reputation in the community
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience - Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
- Proven track record of crafting and executing effective sales strategies and achieving revenue targets
- Experience in outside sales, business development, and relationship-building through events and networking
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Familiarity with home care services and the healthcare industry is highly advantageous
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Work Conditions - Professional office environment with routine use of standard office equipment
- Frequent travel to local and out-of-town events, seminars, conferences, and meetings; use of personal car required
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
- Primarily a field-based and desk job, involving significant in-person and telephone communication
