Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or equivalent education/experience.
• Five years of professional BD experience in an A/E/C firm.
• Experience with a CRM Database, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strategic customer relationships that lead to strategic leads and opportunities.
• Establish and maintain knowledge to describe Ballard’s services within the Power, Water/Wastewater, Industrial, Environmental, and Transportation Industries.
• Clearly and succinctly articulate Ballard’s strategic vision to key stakeholders and potential customers.
• Report on market conditions, activities, and trends, including customer or prospect changes, technical developments, market dynamics, and competitive strategies.
• Work with the BD team to support the strategic identification and implementation of new markets.
• Strategically partner with the TCG Business Development group, ensuring strong collaboration between Ballard and TCG business development.
• Provide support for the preparation of customer presentations and deliver presentations and pitches to prospective clients.
• Monitor and improve business processes through analysis and collaboration to ensure customer satisfaction.
