Job summary

Eurofins currently seeks a results-oriented Business Development Manager focused on facility validation, environmental monitoring, and calibration within the biopharma and medical device sectors. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, client engagement, and strategic sales execution across the Western US.

The position requires a bachelor’s or advanced degree in life sciences or related fields, at least 3 years of relevant sales experience, and the ability to travel ~40% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in life sciences, environmental sciences, engineering, or business administration.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in facility validation/environmental monitoring and/or instrument calibration/metrology.
• Experience with biopharmaceutical and/or medical device manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel at least 40% of the time.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed annual revenue targets for facility validation, environmental monitoring, and calibration/metrology services for Eurofins by leveraging existing relationships and prospecting new accounts.
• Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy for facility validation and instrument qualification/calibration for new construction projects and laboratory expansions.
• Conduct in-person client meetings, lead stakeholder discussions, and secure contracts within assigned service lines.
• Maintain and manage the opportunity pipeline in CRM; follow up on proposals and report opportunities monthly to leadership.
• Serve as subject matter expert in facility validation, environmental monitoring, and calibration/metrology; partner with BU leaders to align programs.
